Planning Permission Granted! 🎉

Very pleased to announce that another one of my projects has recently had Planning Permission granted. I'm delighted and so are my clients.

This home, located in the beautiful cove of Sandeel Lane (Groomsport) beside the National Trust Orlock Point.

"With evidence of Vikings and smugglers, Orlock on the North Down Coast is steeped in archaeology and history. The rocky outcrops of Orlock Point contain a mosaic of semi-natural habitats, which support a rich diversity of plants and animals. A walk along Orlock Point affords stunning views of the Copeland Islands and out across the Irish Channel towards Scotland"

Never straightforward obtaining planning permission in an area of outstanding beauty but after negotiations Planning Permission Granted! 🥳😊

This beautiful seaside cottage, clad in charred timber is certainly unique and what a wonderful location overlooking the sea.

The goal was to provide a new first floor with open-plan living / studio accommodation including the following:

• New stair from ground floor flooded with natural light (Velux flat glass rooflight)

• Additional 3rd bedroom with En-suite.

• Dining Area

• Kitchenette

• Studio seating area with wood burning stove and wall mounted TV.

• Tall full height glazed sliding doors to access a new Balcony

The upstairs views are certainly superb looking out over the sea towards Scotland and on a warm day the new balcony will be superb!
