Irwin Crescent, Belfast
After completing the single storey rear extension for Mr. and Mrs. B I was asked to help them convert their roof space. When converting an attic it's important to get the details correct, helping your builder understand exactly what is required to meet Planning / Building Regulations including insulation, ventilation & structure. Conversions are not as simple as many believe. This project offered limited space and headroom but with my help it turned out superb. Check out the photos. The Grange, Old Holywood Road
Replacing an existing small dormer with a much larger new dormer to provide full head height / extended Ensuite in Bedroom 2, new Bathroom and also providing a new Master Bedroom with it's own separate Ensuite. Check out the photos.....

Building Control Approval granted and works completed. This project involved converting the attic to provide two new double bedrooms with a shared WC / Shower Room. Velux rooflights introduced to provide natural daylight over the stairway and next to the shower. On the ground converting two rooms into one to provide a new Master Bedroom with Ensuite & walk-in Wardrobe. A new solid fuel stove introduced into the Living Room. To the rear new sliding doors from the Snug to access a raised decking area.

A dormer window extension within the existing attic to provide a new ensuite. Also greatly increasing the size of the existing Bedroom. Not quite as simple as you would think, a little steel work added to provide structural support.
